You??™ll find it in the Projects\Scenes\CH12 folder
of the Projects directory.
2. Make sure Bone X-Ray mode is on from the top left of Layout to see the bones in
the object. This feature is often hard to find, but you access it by clicking the tiny
drop-down arrow to the right of the viewport render style button. Then select the
RightFoot (3) bone of the Penguin object and press p.
3. In the Bone Properties panel, select Penguin_RightFoot as the weight map for the
Bone Weight Map option, as shown in Figure 12.38.

4. Press the down arrow on your keyboard to
select the next bone, RightFoot (4), and
then also assign the Penguin_RightFoot
weight map to it.
5. Close the Bones Properties panel and
select the RightFoot (3) bone. Press y to
rotate the bone around. You??™ll see, as in
Figure 12.39, that only the foot reacts.
The upper portion of the penguin is
not affected at all.
6. Go ahead and repeat the steps for the
LeftFoot bones, assigning the appropriate
weight map.
