2. From the top of the Camera Properties
panel, choose Advanced Camera from the
drop-down list, as shown in Figure 15.3.

3. In the Advanced Camera panel that appears, there are quite a few options. The
first, Ray Start, defaults to Item Position, which gives the appearance of peeking
through a pinhole-type camera.
This determines the starting
point of the rays (when rendering).
What??™s the Item? That??™s the
next setting, which by default is
set to Camera. Change this to
Room_Balls:CenterBall. This is
a single ball that exists in its own
layer. Figure 15.4 shows the panel.
4. Leave the Time Sweep setting at ???Offset from now,??? the default. This setting will
give you the ability to shift the way the rays in the scene are calculated.
5. For Ray Direction, Field of View will work for the current scene. Here, you can tell
the Advanced Camera to be rendered toward the item position or toward the UV
position, and more.
