"Inside LightWave v9"

Whether you have a few computers or hundreds of
computers at your location, you can use all of them for rendering the same animation.
LightWave ships with some important network-rendering software called ScreamerNet.
ScreamerNet has been a part of LightWave for years. With ScreamerNet, LightWave needs
to be installed on only a single machine. This distributive rendering can send your animations
to other networked machines that have a ScreamerNet process running. You
don??™t have to use this feature; it is used more in larger animation studios that want to maximize
time by using multiple computer environments. Please refer to your LightWave
manuals for proper instruction.
ScreamerNet also is useful on a single machine for batch processing your animations.
Think about setting up four versions of your animated logo to render one right after the
other. Because LightWave saves the Render Options information within a scene file,
ScreamerNet knows where and what to save from your specific animations. You even can
run ScreamerNet without running LightWave. Use ScreamerNet to batch-render animations
without loading your scenes.
