Chapter 15: Beyond the Oracle Database
This chapter covers the world beyond the boundaries of the Oracle database. The
chapter now describes Application Express (ApEx), an HTML-based development
tool that can be used to create applications that run from the Oracle database platform.
It also includes Fusion Middleware, which has combined the software stack of
Oracle Application Server as well as additional components, and the Oracle SOA
Suite, aimed at SOA developers.
